Tomorrow will be a long day for our little Smiles... beginning, really, sometime after midnight with strict fasting (no formula or breastmilk in preparation for general anesthetic); culminating with 2+ hours in the MRI machine; and wrapping up sometime in the early afternoon when I can visit him in the recovery room, feed him, and finally bring him home. He returns the following day to meet his neurosurgeon & receive a prognosis. We will keep everyone updated and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and support thus far...

O Lord Jesus Christ, Divine Healer and Good Shepherd,
You gently gather the lambs in Your arms
and carry them in Your bosom.
We commend to Your loving care
this child, Alexander.
Relieve any pain he may be suffering,
protect him from all dangers,
and raise him up to a life of service to You.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord.
