The other day Eric and I, plus several friends, headed to a local park. We played a game of "frisbee golf" -- a game quite a bit like golf, only it consists of throwing frisbees into a metal bucket instead of putting balls into a hole. As with a golf course, the frisbee golf course is beautifully-manicured (and when I wasn't chasing my frisbee, I enjoyed admiring the stately spruce trees and going barefoot through the lush green grass!) Unlike in a game of golf, however, admission to play frisbee golf is... totally free!

Eric and the other guys getting ready for the game!
And he throws the frisbee!
Uh, oh! We run to the edge of the river... Did someone's frisbee land in the water?!

Yup. We're minus one frisbee now!

In Arvada, we lived across the street from a park that had a popular frisbee golf course. Frisbees were always landing high up in our blue spruces or on our roof. Once, we even had our garage window broken out by a stray frisbee when the "holes" were moved for a tournament.
The lost frisbees proved to be very profitable for our Jennifer who waited for a strong wind, collected the lost frisbees, then opened a lemonade/frisbee stand. (Of course, any owner who could identify his/her frisbee could redeem it for free.) What a little entreprenuer she was!
Oh, wow! That's too bad about your garage window... but Jennifer must have enjoyed the extra cash from reselling frisbees! From what I understand, they can sell for pretty good money!!
