We're truly excited about the great job prospect for Eric and the peaceful small-town setting where we'll be moving! 
As you can see, the terrain is somewhat desert-like (I've never seen so many types of cactus in my life!) But thanks to the elevation -- and to three surrounding mountain ranges -- this is one of the coolest places in Texas. Summers just break 90 degrees, and winters are mild. Add to this that the mountains provide a scenic view and good hiking... we can't wait!

He-he! Yes... that would be grand! So sad that Alpine and Louisville aren't closer. Ah well. There are always road trips!
